Carwow is the UK's leading online platform for buying and selling cars. I embedded with their team as a contract senior engineer, shipping features and paying down technical debt on a high-traffic Rails monolith.
The engagement
Carwow's platform handles large volumes of car-buying and car-selling
transactions on a substantial Ruby on Rails monolith. Working closely
with the team's tech lead, my role covered delivering user-facing
features, addressing critical maintenance, and keeping the platform
stable while it evolved.
